Earls Court to West Kensington - District Line

Site access was a problem at West Kensington, and with approximately 100 m3 to remove from the cutting during reprofiling, the best solution was to use conveyors to move the excess material to awaiting skips.

When re-profiling of the embankment is complete, BSR metro are to undertake soil-nailing as a stabilisation measure.

	The vegetation clearance team makes progress along the cutting removing surface vegetation.
	Conveyors move the excess material to awaiting skips.
	The final embankment profile can be seen as the conveyors are removed before soil nailing.
